Pub13
Concert Review:
07-28-2006 in Ypsilanti

Pub13 was the first official show for APF. The people there were very helpful and friendly to us. The stage was setup outside in the middle of the street and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. There was an amazing turn out of fans, somewhere around 100-150 including friends, family, and even a few complete strangers… One of which has become known as our “biggest fan”. She was an extremely intoxicated woman doing what she thought was dancing right in front of the stage. She was very distracting to some of the band members, making it extremely difficult to keep playing without laughing. She danced for at least half the show, dropping her cigarettes and other random things from time to time. Lots of people were afraid she’d start stripping, so she was soon chased away by the police.

The performance went really well and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. We played 6 songs in all, plus the intro. Tony’s voice held up really well and everyone seemed extremely energetic. The guys at Pub13 hadn’t had anyone with our intensity on before, so they asked us not to have any sort of mosh pits or other “violence” due to insurance reasons. But, had there been a most pit, we would have totally rocked it. Having only played one real show before, we did pretty good and were surprised by everyone there to support us. There were even some fans singing along to the songs. Overall this was our best show so far, but only one of many to come.
